Buyer questions
WG-003 — frequently asked questions
What work is WG-003 suited for?
Welding and light fabrication in the same general-duty class as WG-001 and WG-002. For heavier handling look at the reinforced-palm options (WG-008, WG-009), and for forearm cover the long-cuff gloves (WG-005, WG-006).
Why choose a blue welding glove?
The blue finish is a visibility and identification choice, not a performance difference — the split-leather construction is the same general-duty class as the red and white versions. Sites use distinct colours to separate trades, mark glove rotation or match brand colours. Mixing colours within one bulk order can be discussed in the RFQ.
What is the minimum order for WG-003?
Typical starting point 100–200 pairs per SKU; confirm for quotation.
Is WG-003 certified to EN 12477?
Specify the standard and level you need in your RFQ, and ask every supplier — True Port Global included — for product-specific evidence (test report, issuing lab, date and marking) for the exact glove being quoted. No blanket certification claim is made for this product.
